Deep Relaxation: A Conduit Center Spring Sound Healing with Essential Oils (Calendar)

Led by Amy Thompson, ERYT-500 and The Conduit Sound
Friday June 6th, 7-8:30 pm
Join us for a deeply grounding evening with the amazing musicians from The Conduit and yoga teacher Amy Thompson, E-RYT 500, as they create a night of sound and relaxation.

The format will include an opening and closing meditation, and a sound healing where you will deeply rest and receive.
You will be bathed in the sounds of the singing bowls, chimes, gongs and more to enhance the peaceful and soothing. The room will be infused with professional grade essential oils.

A sound therapy treatment is both a passive and participatory experience. The passive aspect is that you become more relaxed by laying down and slowing your breath. By doing this, you prepare yourself to become the receiver of sound. It's in this place of stillness that you participate by becoming more open and aware of each sound that comes in. Sound helps create the pathway to this place of stillness the same as a mantra helps you to arrive at the still point of meditation.

Students often bring a blanket and pillow, and dress in layers to help feel cozy during the sound healing, which happens while the students rest deeply on their yoga mats.
This practice does NOT involve any yoga "poses" other than seated and shavasana, so it's a wonderful and accessible practice for all, yoga practitioners and others.

These events tend to sell out, so early pre-registration is strongly encouraged!

I’ve attended several Conduit Sound Meditations, and each one has been a uniquely beautiful experience. Every sound bath feels different, thoughtfully crafted, and deeply immersive. The care they put into setting up each venue really enhances the journey — from the atmosphere to the soundscape, everything feels intentional. I always leave feeling relaxed, refreshed, and uplifted. I can’t wait to return for my next session!

There are few experiences locally that could match what the folks at Conduit Center provide. Not only do they love what they do, they are genuinely interested in helping others find peace through their music and find joy in offering the services they do. We are so fortunate to have them in our back yard. If you have never been to one of their gong concerts, you are missing out on one of the most unique experiences offered. Give them a try!

Sound meditation made me so peaceful. I did not want the door to open when it was done.
