RESTORATIVE YOGA + IMMERSIVE SOUND WITH AMY THOMPSON AND THE CONDUIT SOUND
Friday, September 4
7:00–8:30 PM
Samadhi Yoga Studio | Manchester, Connecticut
Join Amy Thompson, E-RYT 500, and the musicians of The Conduit Sound for a deeply grounding evening that brings together restorative yoga, immersive sound, and intentional rest.
Amy will guide you through a gentle restorative yoga practice as singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and other overtone-rich instruments create an evolving live soundscape around you. The combination of supported postures and resonant sound invites the body to soften, the mind to quiet, and the pace of daily life to temporarily fall away.
Restorative yoga is a slow, accessible practice centered around comfort, support, and stillness. Props are used to help stabilize and support the body, allowing each posture to be held without strain while encouraging the muscles and connective tissues to gradually release.
No previous yoga, meditation, or sound bath experience is necessary. This workshop is open to experienced practitioners, complete beginners, and anyone looking for a gentle way to unwind, reconnect with the body, and enter the weekend feeling more grounded and restored.
WHAT TO BRING
Students are encouraged to bring a weighted or regular blanket, an eye pillow, and anything else that will help them feel warm, supported, and comfortable throughout the practice.
Space is limited, and these collaborative workshops often sell out. Early registration is strongly encouraged.
