Solar Eclipse Sound Meditation
at Lyman Orchards with The Conduit
Wednesday, August 12, 2026 | 1:00 PM – 2:15 PM
Experience Connecticut's 2026 Partial Solar Eclipse in a way that's both memorable and deeply relaxing.
Join The Conduit at The Meadow at Lyman Orchards Golf Club for a special outdoor Solar Eclipse Sound Meditation, where live sound, open sky, and one of nature's most remarkable celestial events come together in a peaceful afternoon of reflection and renewal.
As the Moon gradually passes in front of the Sun, the landscape subtly changes, the light softens, and the pace of the day naturally slows. Throughout this rare moment, you'll be immersed in the soothing vibrations of live gongs, crystal singing bowls, chimes, and other acoustic instruments, creating an effortless meditation experience that invites you to relax, reset, and simply be present.
While Connecticut will experience a partial—not total—solar eclipse, the alignment of the Sun and Moon offers a beautiful reminder to pause, reflect, and embrace new perspectives. Whether you're drawn by the astronomy, the meditation, or simply the opportunity to spend time outdoors in a unique setting, this experience offers a meaningful way to mark the occasion.
Unlike traditional guided meditation, there is nothing you need to learn or do. Simply get comfortable, close your eyes (when not viewing the eclipse safely), and allow the sound to guide you into a deeply restorative state. Many guests leave feeling calmer, more grounded, mentally refreshed, and deeply relaxed.
No meditation experience is necessary.
Eclipse Viewing
Your registration includes certified solar eclipse viewing glasses, allowing you to safely observe the eclipse during appropriate viewing times throughout the session.
In Connecticut, the eclipse will:
Begin: approximately 1:03 PM
Reach maximum coverage: approximately 1:54 PM
End: approximately 2:42 PM
Although only a partial eclipse will be visible here, it remains a rare and unforgettable astronomical event.
Important Safety Information
Looking directly at the Sun without proper solar viewing protection can cause permanent eye damage.
Eclipse glasses are included with every ticket.
Regular sunglasses are NOT safe for viewing the Sun.
Never look at the Sun through a camera, binoculars, telescope, or other optical device unless it has a certified solar filter.
